Connect Infants
Pupils follow the same curriculum as our lower primary aged pupils attending Abbey Hill Academy. By working collaboratively with the host school, pupils also have the option to take part in mainstream classes with the support of Connect staff. Not only does this extend our own curriculum offer, but also allows children to form new friendships.
Phonics
The teaching of reading and phonics is done primarily through the delivery of the Read Write Inc. Programme. Children are provided with phonetically decodable reading books, matching their Read Write Inc groups to support with reading at home.
Religious Education
Parents and carers have the right to withdraw their child from all or part of RE. Please speak to a member of the Senior Leadership Team in the first instance
